You are trusting this software with gate codes, home access notes, and payment relationships. That deserves specifics rather than a badge wall, so this page answers the questions property managers and owners actually ask, in order.
What data HoundStack holds
Client contact details, service addresses, dog records, visit history and photos, gate codes and access notes, safety hazard notes, invoices, and message history. That is the working set a service business needs, and nothing about it is sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
How gate codes and hazard notes are protected
Gate codes and hazard notes are the most sensitive things in the system and are treated that way: encrypted in transit and at rest, and visible only to roles that need them for the day’s work. A tech sees codes for their own route. They do not see your whole book.
How payment data is handled
Card numbers never touch HoundStack servers. Payments run on your own Stripe account with your own key, and card data is entered into and stored by Stripe directly. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level. HoundStack stores only the references needed to show you what was paid.
Can a competitor see my data? No.
HoundStack is fully multi tenant with row level isolation, which means every record in the database is stamped with your account and every query is scoped to it at the database layer, not just in application code. Another business on HoundStack cannot see your clients, your pricing, or your routes, full stop.
Access inside your own team
Owner, office manager, dispatcher, and tech roles each see only what the job requires. Offboarding a tech is one click, and their access ends immediately, including the mobile app.
Analytics on this website
This marketing site uses Plausible, a privacy respecting analytics tool. No advertising trackers, no cross site profiles, no cookie banner theater. We count visits, not people.
